Skin Care

Acne and oily skin is very common in the younger years and can severely reduce self-confidence just at the time when looks and image are of prime importance to the young adults. Acne can persist into middle age.

Younger skin is more oily than older skin, which can cause blocked pores, resulting in spots.

These skin conditions can leave scars that can persist. Dr Elsey will carefully listen to the young person’s problems and examine the skin and can and offer a range of treatments to improve skin quality. Acne in young people can be treated with a course of peels and/or DiamondTone microdermabrasion to clear the pores and restore skin clarity.

It is the policy of the clinic not to treat patients under the age of 18 years.
